Spring has sprung, and Easter is nearly here...
That's enough to get excited about in our opinion. One thing that makes Easter even better is when you treat yourself to a gin cocktail AND chocolate. Whether you're looking for a sweet treat or something light after indulging in lots of (delicious) chocolate, we've got a mixture of recipes that you need to try.
All of these cocktails have a special Slingsby twist using our range of London Dry Gin, Rhubarb Gin, Marmalade Gin and Gooseberry Gin.
Kombucha Rhubarb Spritz
50ml Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
150ml Orchard Lime and Mint Kombucha
Prosecco top
Build the ingredients in a large wine glass with ice and top with a splash of prosecco. Garnish with a mint sprig.
Slingsby's Easter Shake
37.5ml Rhubarb Gin
12.5ml Crème de Cacao
150ml Milk
20ml Chocolate Sauce*
Shake & strain into jam jar/glass mug and garnish with a strawberry and even more chocolate!
Grapefruit Soda
50ml Slingsby Yorkshire Rhubarb Gin
20ml Elderflower Cordial
50ml Pink Grapefruit Juice
Soda Top
Build all ingredients in a short glass filled with ice. Stir gently and top with soda. Garnish with a wedge of pink grapefruit.
London Calling
40ml Gooseberry Gin
15ml Manzanilla Sherry
15ml Lemon Juice
10ml Sugar Syrup
2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with cubed ice. Shake hard for a short period and then double strain into a martini glass and garnish with a lemon twist or coin.
Long Lemonade
50ml Slingsby London Dry Gin
25ml Sugar syrup
1/2 a lemon
Handful of mint
Soda
Muddle the lemon down in a tall glass and add the mint. Add the sugar syrup and gin. Fill with crushed ice and stir. Add more ice and a splash of soda. Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig.
The Fixer
50ml Marmalade
25ml Vanilla Syrup
1 tsp Coconut Cream
40ml Pineapple Juice
Soda top
Add all ingredients to a wine or highball glass with cubed ice and top with soda. Lift ice to mix and serve with a crushed ice cap, orange wedge and mint sprig.
