For us, the perfect drink on a lovely British summer’s day is by far a gin and tonic. Here at Slingsby, we have a number of wonderful signature pairings for our all of gins including Rhubarb, Gooseberry, Navy Strength and many more.
G&Ts are great to enjoy at your local pub or in your back garden, but how about when you’re on your travels and don’t want to carry your favourite bottle of gin around with you? Allow us to introduce our Slingsby Solos! These are our pre-mixed gin and tonics in a convenient canned format that can be enjoyed straight from the can meaning that your plans this summer can be enjoyed alongside Slingsby gin.
Up until recently, we had 3 flavours in our Slingsby Solo range which are Rhubarb & Elderflower Tonic, Marmalade & Mediterranean Tonic and Rhubarb & Ginger Ale. These were loved by everyone that tried them, so we just had to introduce some new flavours into the mix. London Dry & Premium Tonic, Gooseberry & Mediterranean Tonic and Blackberry & Mediterranean Tonic are the latest additions, and we think they taste great, especially in summer!
Which Solo should I try?
We all like different types of drinks, especially when it comes to gin. Some prefer a more traditional and juniper-heavy drink and others gravitate more towards a sweet and fruity variant.
For those of you who like to keep your G&Ts simple, you’re going to really enjoy our London Dry Solos. Our staple gin is made with 24 botanicals including juniper, green and jasmine tea but also a strong helping of grapefruit to give it a lovely and unique citrussy flavour.
Who doesn’t love a refreshing gin? If that sounds like something that you’ll enjoy then we think you’ll gravitate towards our Marmalade & Mediterranean Tonic but also our new Gooseberry & Mediterranean Tonic pairing too. Both of these use the finest Yorkshire ingredients which have a wonderful fresh and fruity finish.
Here at Slingsby, we love our gin paired with tonic but for some, tonic water isn’t suited to their tastebuds. In that case, we suggest going for our Rhubarb & Ginger Ale pairing which is also a little sweeter than our other cans. Our Yorkshire Rhubarb gin is wonderfully fruity and it’s really enjoyable when paired with the flavours from the ginger ale.
Blackberry is not just the newest addition to the Solos but to the whole Slingsby gin range. This new flavour is packed with fruity goodness and is a bright and refreshing gin with a beautifully sweet finish. Our pairing with Mediterranean tonic is best-enjoyed ice-cold surrounded by your favourite people in the summer sun.
