It is safe to say that 2020 was certainly a year to remember if not necessarily for the right reasons. At Slingsby we are amazed and delighted by the support we are receiving from our lovely customers throughout these challenging times.
Sadly, our retail unit and gin experiences were closed off to the public for large parts of last year and due to the current lockdown restrictions will now be closed again. However, when we have been able to welcome the public back in a safe and COVID19 secure way, it has been an absolute joy for our team to see customers smiling and enjoying our products whilst sharing their experiences and stories with us.
We are so proud to say that during this pandemic, we have delivered hand sanitiser to nearly 100 local care homes, charities, schools and hospitals. We are also honoured to support our local health care trust with its fund-raising efforts in aid of local health care workers who are providing such dedicated and selfless care to those with COVID19.
We must also praise the dedication and fortitude of the whole team here at Slingsby for remaining so cheerful and determined to bring a little happiness to our customers and local community throughout the last year.
We are also extremely proud to say that even COVID19 couldn’t prevent Slingsby winning 24 national and international awards in 2020 in particular, the double gold award for our Slingsby Marmalade at CWSA.
So, sincere thanks to you for your continued support and from all of us here at Slingsby, Happy New Year and we look forward to the day sometime soon when we might all return to more normal times!
