We were proud to be an Official Sponsor of the BMW PGA Championship for the third year running in 2022 and to celebrate we brought back our Slingsby Golf Academy for a second series - this time with four new recruits.
In 2021, our celebrity Golf Academy with Helen Skelton, Fleur East, Natalie Pinkham and Bela Shah set out to encourage and inspire more females to take to up the sport this summer while championing the social side of the game.
Fast forward to 2022 and we had Zara Tindall, Judy Murray, Dr Zoe Williams and Anna Woolhouse taking on the challenge. Follow their journey on our social media and YouTube channel.
With the support of Callaway Europe, we have challenge this year's cadets to take a swing at the sport in an exciting novice to competitor series. Our cadets have just 6 months to learn how to play golf before competing against each other in a nerve-wracking play off to qualify for a spot in the prestigious BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am at Wentworth Golf Club.
The BMW PGA Championship is one of the most high-profile tournaments on the European Tour. Year-on-year, celebrities from the world of sport, film, music and broadcast come together to play the Championship’s star-studded Pro-Am.
