Cocktails for Valentine’s Day 2021
Valentine’s Day is upon us again! Some people like to show their appreciation of their loved one by giving gifts, flowers, chocolates but here at Slingsby, we like to do it by creating great drinks for them. You may not be able to spend your Valentine’s Day in your favourite bar or restaurant, but your dinner drinks can still provide excitement and passion at home. Here are 6 of our best picks of cocktails that you can recreate for your romantic celebrations:
French Kiss
- 50ml Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
- 50ml Pineapple Juice
- 20ml Lime Juice
- 25ml Chambord
Add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice, shake and then strain into a coupe glass.
Jasmine Martini
- 25ml Slingsby London Dry
- 25ml Cocchi Americano
- 15ml Jasmine Syrup
Simply, combine all ingredients into a mixing glass and stir down until appropriately diluted then strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with an edible flower.
Playing Gooseberry
- 35ml Slingsby Gooseberry Gin
- 15ml Elderflower Cordial
- 10ml Lemon Juice
- Prosecco top
Build all of the ingredients together in a chilled flute glass. Garnish with a lemon peel twist.
Espresso Martini
- 30ml Slingsby Pure Grain Vodka
- 20ml Coffee Liqueur
- 60ml Cold Brew Coffee
- 15ml Vanilla Syrup
- Pinch of Salt
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain to remove the ice and then shake again. Lastly, strain into a Martini glass and garnish with coffee beans.
Rhubarb Rossini
- 25ml Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
- 20ml Elderflower Liqueur
- 10ml Raspberry Purée
- Champagne
Shake the puree, elderflower liqueur and gin. Strain into a flute or coupe and top with champagne. Garnish with a blackberry on the rim.
Slingsby Bramble
- 40ml Slingsby Old Tom Gin
- 15ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 10ml Sugar Syrup
- 15ml Creme de Mure
Build all ingredients in a low ball glass filled with ice. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and blackberries.
